Big changes coming for Huntsville

Big things are coming to North Huntsville and it is about time.

The city approved a two hundred forty million dollar project called North Village Town Center. It is planned for the corner of Memorial Parkway and the Northern Bypass, right in the heart of north Huntsville. Think restaurants, daily needs, wellness spots and plenty of room for new favorites to move in.

Here is the headline that has everyone talking. A new Target and a new Home Depot are anchoring the project. Both are scheduled to break ground in the spring of 2026 with doors opening sometime in 2027. That means easier errands, shorter drives and more convenience for the neighborhoods that have been waiting patiently for years.
